Monument Hockey Club Appoints Justin Walters as New Head Coach

Monument Hockey Club has announced the appointment of Justin Walters as their new Head Coach. Walters will be joined by Mario Puskarich and George Pagonis, who will serve alongside him as General Managers.

Walters brings an extensive background in coaching and sports performance. Notably, he served as a strength coach with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee, where he played a key role in the success of the gold medal-winning Women’s Indoor Volleyball team at the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games.

Since 2003, Walters has held various coaching and director positions with prestigious organizations, including the Tom Landry Center, the Phoenix Suns and Mercury (NBA/WNBA), the Dallas Stars (NHL), and the Chicago Cubs (MLB/MiLB). His diverse experience spans across multiple major sports leagues, showcasing his versatile coaching abilities and leadership.

In addition to his new role, Walters currently serves as an on-ice coach for the Rampage Tier 1 and travel teams. His appointment as Head Coach of Monument Hockey Club marks a significant step for the organization, as they aim to leverage his expertise to drive the team to new heights.
